Hi Carolyn,
Nice idea, (streaming cafe). (Also, nice set by you by the way.) I had the same idea recently so I checked out how it went for you. Basically o.k. but you can`t take the sound off the floor, (i.e. you get too much echo, unclear sound, the bottom disappears etc., as you no doubt have noticed). Having a Y`s on your mics, (D.I. ing whatever you can) and doing a separate mix for video is really what it should be to do it right. I know that`s more than you probably had in mind so try this. Take your audio tap off the mixer and mix it with a bit of house mic (straight off the p.a. is always pretty dry). Let me know if you need a hand. Good start. Cheers – Steve

My name is Ryan, the one live streaming the shows, I recently stared to use a usb mic to improve the sound quality.
This live stream project has many challenges , that have to be addressed paying for Bandwidth, electrical power being what to have enough, & the weight to carry it all around a battery pack. Having my own embedding code one my site just so i don’t have to use Ustream , just don’t like there commercials.
I’m mainly working on this alone and looking for any help I can get.
